Lance Sorenson
President

Lance Sorenson has been in the equipment rental business for 24 years. Lance first worked for Adco Equipment, a large equipment rental company in southern California for 14 years. The first four years he worked as a salesman, renting to construction and industrial accounts, before going "Hollywood". He served the last ten years at Adco as Director of the Entertainment Industry division, responsible for sales and marketing as well as public relations.. (more...)

John O'Malley
Vice President - Sales

John's entertainment industry career started fourteen years ago working as a sales representative for Rebel Studio Rentals. Some of his early projects included "TERMINATOR", "DANTE'S PEAK" and "TITANIC". Rebel Studio Rentals eventually sold to NES Rentals where over a ten year time-line John covered Sales, Safety Training and developed into the company's Sales Manager.

In February of 2008 John accepted the position of Vice President of Sales for 24/7 Studio Equipment. John's responsibilities include developing and maintaining studio relationships, coordinating activities between our Sales staff and customers and developing new areas of business as our company grows.

Married for 26 years and with two sons, the O'Malley's are fluent in Swedish. They plan their summer vacations around travel to Sweden. Golf and fishing for Northern Pike occupies much of their time in the land of the midnight sun. Due to his Chicago heritage, and his Swedish travels, John has become a serious hockey fan of the NHL.

Johnny Brown
Studio Consultant

Johnny Brown has been around the entertainment industry for many years. From his early days in "stand-up" comedy to his many years as a photographer, Johnny knows the meaning of "Lights, Camera & Action." The 10 year sales natural says: "Customer Service is priority one! I'm available 24 Hrs. a day/7 days a week, and that's the truth! They don't call me 'Down Town' Johnny Brown for nothing! Let me solve your equipment rental needs!"

Johnny's hobbies include: Photography, Golf (38 on the back nine!), Bicycle Riding, Rollerblading and Reading.

Tim Moore
Vice President - Operations

Tim Moore has been in the equipment rental industry since 1982. Starting in an entry level position, he soon worked his way up through the ranks. Tim has held various management positions throughout his twenty-four year career working for three large equipment rental companies in Southern California, the last seven years as Operations Manager of another successful studio rental equipment company.

Mr. Moore will serve as Vice President - Operations and is responsible for all facets of our day to day operations including: fleet management, training, safety, budget forecasting, P&L statements, the drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, yard men and office personnel. Tim also assists in sales and marketing.

Tim is married and has an eighteen year old son. He enjoys sports, golf and building street rods.

Gary Mielke
Vice President - Finance

Gary is the "new guy" to the team and is a CPA from Colorado. He has extensive experience in the apparel industry and the resort snow-ski business including Steamboat and Heavenly Valley. While Gary has been doing executive-level work for 25 years, he loves working with the people at 24/7 Studio Equipment and admires their can-do attitude.

Gary loves collecting music and wine, playing golf, traveling and being part of building a company from the ground up!

Gabe G. Ramos
Environmental, Health & Safety Director


Gabe has been in the rental industry for over 10 years. The majority of those years have been in the studio equipment rental industry working with both Tim and Lance at NES Studio Equipment. Gabe has held positions ranging from Dispatcher and Operations Manager while at NES and Safety Instructor for Contract Services.

Gabe is the Environmental, Health and Safety Director for 24/7 Studio Equipment. In this position, Gabe is responsible for making sure that the company health and environmental policy is in-line with Federal and State laws. Gabe is also implementing and developing our "Green" policies as we move forward into a more eco-friendly business model. Some of these new developments include; alternative fuels, recycling programs, carbon footprint reduction and reduced emissions technologies.

Gabe is a fanatical lover of Blues music. When he is not at work making sure that everyone stays safe, he is usually alphabetizing his "John Lee Hooker" record collection.

Floyd Griffin
Service Manager

Service Manager Floyd Griffin has been in the equipment rental business for over ten years. He worked as a driver, dispatcher, safety trainer, service manager, parts purchaser for other rental companies prior to coming to 24/7 Studio Equipment.

Floyd is very proud of his staff of factory-trained mechanics and claims “our mechanics are highly trained professionals, second to none.” Floyd and his team always check every piece of equipment thoroughly, prior to rental and upon its return, before it goes out to the next job. “This allows 24/7 Studio Equipment to provide the best running, most-reliable and safest equipment possible.” As Safety Coordinator Floyd makes certain that his team of mechanics are extremely conscientious regarding the safety of equipment and its operations.

Floyd enjoys Hiking, Camping, Rock climbing River rafting Just about any outdoor activity. My newest activity is Kayaking.

Bob Mulloy
Dispatch Manager

Bob Mulloy has been in the rental industry for 13 years. Bob possesses considerable knowledge and experience in dealing with production and studio rental needs. Bob's attention to detail and follow-up are two of the many strong assets that he brings to 24/7 Studio Equipment. He is not only one of the voices you speak with on a daily basis but he is also the Dispatch Manager.

Fay Richardson
Transportation Coordinator

Fay has been in the rental business since January of 2006, and loves the fast-paced work environment that is typical of the dispatch department. She enjoys talking to customers and offering top-of-the-line equipment and superior customer service to meet their needs. The work is demanding, but being able to help “pull off a miracle” for a customer in a bind is extremely rewarding.


In her spare time, Fay likes spending time with her husband. “We enjoy trying new or challenging things; just for the heck of it.” Their more recent adventures include getting their Class A drivers licenses, and hosting foreign exchange students from France and Italy.

Missy Semasinghe
Office Manager

Missy has worked with Lance, Tim, Johnny, Floyd and Bob for many years. Her part of that team included all aspects of accounting and office procedures. While she spends a lot of time on collections, she is available to answer all customer inquiries. Says Gary, "Missy is extremely customer service oriented - she'll research any problem a customer might have and get them a prompt (and friendly) answer. She is a big asset in what 24/7 Studio Equipment is all about".

Missy enjoys movies, traveling, dining-out and spending time with her husband and two teenage daughters, as well as "keeping the guys in line".

Cindy Gold
Accounting Assistant

Cindy has been in the entertainment industry for years before joining 24/7 Studio Equipment. She is involved in all aspects of billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Keeping our suppliers and vendors paid is an important aspect of her job and there is a good chance when you call 24/7 - it might be her voice on the phone giving you a professional, courteous "Hello"!

Cindy enjoys movies and spending time with her family - especially watching her son's baseball games.
