Customer Preferred Controls
The 400 Series uses the same platform control arrangement as the entire JLG line of boom lifts to facilitate operator and technical training. The design reduces the number of buttons and switches used to position the platform, and controls are spaced for use with gloved hands.

Semi-Track Option and Exclusive Floating Idler System
The Semi-Track option allows you to travel through mud, sand and snow. The floating idler system allows the drive wheels to remain in contact with the ground for improved traction on uneven surfaces. Plus, for added versatility, the Semi-Track option can be easily removed in the field and converted back to a wheeled unit by removing a few bolts.

Greater Serviceability
JLG has streamlined preventive maintenance on the 400 Series by eliminating rear lube points and providing ease of access with an engine swing-out tray. This reduces the cost of routine maintenance work and reduces machine downtime.

The exclusive JLG Advanced Design Electronics (Control ADE) System helps optimize productivity while lowering your owning and operating costs.

QuikStik® Boom Provides Optimum Productivity
You asked for faster duty cycles up and down–so we invented the exclusive QuikStik boom. This boom design allows the platform to be lowered to the ground while the tower boom is fully raised and extended. What’s more, it links two lifting actions, simultaneously raising both the upper boom and the tower boom. With this feature, the operator can go from ground level to full elevation in less than 50 seconds.

High Capacity
A platform capacity of up to 1,000 lb (454 kg) on the Model 800S increases your productivity by allowing more workers and materials in the platform. This is especially critical for applications requiring extra capacity such as steel erection, mechanical contracting and glazing.

Oscillating Axle for Rough Terrain Performance
With the JLG oscillating axle, you get a smoother ride and better traction. Designed to eliminate the need for extendible axles, the chassis width is a narrow and constant 8 ft (2.44 m) to reduce set-up and increase productivity.

Ease of operation is provided as the control system automatically synchronizes the wheels when switching between the three steering modes.

The all-new JLG Model 1250AJP articulating boom lift delivers the additional reach capabilities only an articulating boom can provide for applications that demand more flexibility. The Model 1250AJPtakes you up, over, out and around obstructions and is ideal for applications that require optimum high-reach versatility such as: petrochemical, steel and paper mills, airport construction and aircraft maintenance, stadium/arena/convention centers, co-generation plants, shipyards and bridge renovation and construction.

Larger Working Range
With an up-and-over height of 60 ft 6 in. (18.44 m) and horizontal outreach of 63 ft 2 in. (19.25 m), the Model 1250AJP can easily clear five-story buildings and obstructions and get you where you need to work.

Faster Cycle Speeds
JLG’s exclusive QuikStik® boom design allows the Model 1250AJP platform to be lowered to the ground while the tower boom is fully raised and extended. The operator can go from full elevation of 125 feet (38.1 m) to the ground in 95 seconds. The boom design also links two functions, simultaneously raising and telescoping the tower boom. This improves operation and allows full elevation in less than 130 seconds.

Automatic Platform Leveling
While operating an Ultra Series boom lift, the work platform is automatically leveled in relation to gravitational forces, not the machine chassis, as found on competitive equipment. Platform leveling in relation to gravity provides unmatched operator comfort, especially at 135 feet.

Optimum Maneuverability
Standard 4-wheel steer makes maneuvering around congested jobsites a snap. Three steering modes are available: 2-wheel steer,
4-wheel coordinated or crab steering. The Ultra Booms feature the tightest turning radius and an industry-best 1:1 crab steer ratio.
